Black Ice Software Announces Impact Color Fax 8.0 Release - The Ideal Small Office Vista Fax Solution.

Amherst, NH June 1, 2007 -- Black Ice Software, LLC (“Black Ice"), a worldwide provider of imaging, printing and communication applications and development tools, today announced the release of Version 8 of Impact Color Fax, a desktop fax application for Microsoft Windows. Impact Color Fax is designed for users who need a simple but effective PC color faxing software solution. Send and receive faxes from the comfort of your home computer. Send any file on your computer as a fax, or use Impact Color Fax with a scanner or multifunction printer to scan and fax.

With version 8 of Impact Color Fax, Black Ice Software now incorporates User-Mode printer driver technology to increase reliability and security by moving operations away from the computer's kernel and also now includes support for 64 bit Windows operating systems and Microsoft’s Vista operating system.

Impact Color Fax supports up to two fax separate fax lines and includes a limited fax broadcast function for a powerful yet inexpensive software package. Impact Color Fax Lite is also available for free to those who need just the most basic fax capability.
